Norman, OK – February 13, 2025 – Norman Public Schools (NPS) is excited to announce upcoming Pre-K Enrollment Information Sessions and Open Houses designed to help families prepare for the 2025-2026 school year. These events will provide parents and guardians with essential details about the enrollment process, curriculum, and the benefits of early childhood education in NPS.

Families with children who will be four years old on or before September 1, 2025, are encouraged to attend. The sessions will feature opportunities to meet Pre-K teachers, tour classrooms, and ask questions about the program.

A Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment and information night will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Norman Public Schools Administration Services Center, located at 131 South Flood.

NPS will host six informational sessions about our Pre-K programs.

Parents and guardians will receive guidance on required documents for enrollment, which include a birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency. The Pre-K Placement Form will be open from Monday, February 17, 2025, through Friday, March 7, 2025, and in-person support will be available at each session for those needing assistance.

“Pre-K is a crucial time in a child’s development, and we are committed to providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning,” said Jaylynn Richardson, Early Childhood and Elementary Programs Coordinator of Norman Public Schools. “These information sessions and open houses are a great way for families to get acquainted with our outstanding early learning programs.”
